I own a pair of these that is almost identical to this model. The negative reviewer is mistaken about not being able to hand hold the goggles. They're made to shut off when they're turned on and then disconnected from the head-mount so that you don't forget and the enemy sees you, and then you die - they're a military device. If they're not connected to the head-mount you can turn them on and off at will.1 of 5 people found the following review helpful.
